Our International Service Chair @carissagerry rece Our International Service Chair @carissagerry recently visited the nonprofit Face of Justice (@faceofjustice_cr ) in Costa Rica to deliver donations of clothing we collected with the Rotary Club of French Valley.

Carissa was also able to visit Face of Justice’s recently opened safe house that cares for nearly 20 teenage girls rescued from sex trafficking. Our club’s donation to the cause covered the cost of sod for the multi-acre property.

Face of Justice is a nonprofit organization operated by paid staff and self-supporting volunteers. The organization’s vision is to serve to defend, shelter, empower and love survivors of human trafficking & sexual exploitation and the men, women and children working in prostitution in Central America through Intervention, Prevention & Restoration.

We are proud to support Face of Justice and look forward to continuing to work together!

A HUGE thank you to our partners in paint, @vivifypainting, who generously jumped in as our paint sponsor to completely transform the space!😍

🌳Arbor Day dates back to 1872, when J. Sterling 🌳Arbor Day dates back to 1872, when J. Sterling Morton proposed a tree-planting holiday in Nebraska to encourage conservation and to beautify the land. That year, more than a MILLION trees were planted—and a movement was born. Now, Arbor Day is celebrated nationally on the last Friday in April. 🌱

To honor that legacy and continue the tradition of service, our Old Town Temecula Rotary Members joined forces with the City of Temecula’s Community Services Department, Public Works, and members of the Great Oak Interact Club to plant a tree and perserve others by spreading mulch at Harveston Community Park.

This hands-on effort was part of Rotarians at Work Day—a chance to serve our community and invest in its future.

🙌Huge thank you to everyone who came out to lend a hand!

Today’s our last day up at @ryla5330 April 2025 Today’s our last day up at @ryla5330 April 2025 camp. RYLA is near and dear to our club and we have several members here as both Discussion Group Leaders and staff, as well as friends from our neighboring Temecula Valley Rotary clubs! Special shout out to the representation we have here from @gohs.interact , too.

Between the March and April camps, we sponsored 28 deserving high school juniors to attend RYLA this year. The theme is “Create Your Own Story” and we have truly been inspired by seeing this next generation of leaders develop their leadership skills and build connections with one another. We’re proud to continue to support RYLA as District 5330’s largest project - the impact it has is immeasurable and heartwarming! Until next time… #RYLAROCKS

This weekend we commemorate the birthday of our de This weekend we commemorate the birthday of our dear President Kevin Willis and celebrate the countless ways he has inspired our club members, Interactors, and those within our community. He truly leads by example, always taking a hands-on approach in our service projects and modeling what “Service Above Self” truly means. He manages to do all of this with a smile and witty jokes to share. We are proud to have you as our President, Kevin, and to serve alongside you!

Happy birthday, Prez!
🇺🇲Restoring Flags, 🫡Honoring Heroes. On 🇺🇲Restoring Flags, 🫡Honoring Heroes.

On Saturday, our Rotary Club teamed up with the incredible student leaders of Rotary Interact for a hands-on Flag Repair Workshop at @coworkingconnection in Murrieta. Together, we inspected and repaired hundreds of American flags in preparation for the 17th Annual Murrieta Field of Honor — where over 2,025 flags will proudly fly in tribute to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders.

A huge shoutout to our volunteers (young and young-at-heart) for rolling up their sleeves in service — and a very special THANK YOU to @chickfilamurrieta for fueling our crew with their delicious original chicken sandwiches!

We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up, works hard, and always makes room for a little fun. Service. Leadership. Community. That’s what Rotary is all about.

💡 Did you know?
We host Flag Repair Workshops every month and welcome community members of all ages to join us. Whether you’re a Rotarian, a student, or simply someone who wants to give back—we’d love to have you be part of the impact.
