More exciting growth for our club! Last week, we i More exciting growth for our club! Last week, we inducted Bhavan Singh, an entrepreneur who has been involved with Rotary since he was 8 years old. He was formerly a member of the Rotary Clubs of Pico Rivera and Las Vegas, and previously served in an Assistant Governor position. As the newest member of our club, he is looking forward to getting involved in the community and with our service projects. Welcome, Bhavan! We are looking forward to having you in the club and learning from your impressive Rotarian experience!

We recently inducted Amber White, who is the Director of Partner Development for the Gold Prospectors Association as well as the Editor for their magazine, Gold Prospectors. She also works with @oili.app alongside her Fiancé and one of our club members, Colton Telford. We are excited to have Amber join our club and look forward to her contributions. This weekend members of our club had the honor of This weekend members of our club had the honor of redecorating a dorm room at @oakgrovecenter with the goal of delivering a peaceful, nature-centric space for a student. The room was transformed with a fresh coat of paint courtesy of Above & Beyond Painting and some new furniture and décor donated by our club. We were fortunate to meet one of the room’s residents and share in her excitement at the makeover reveal!

Our club has long supported and participated in th Our club has long supported and participated in the Palm Desert Rotary Club’s annual weekend of service in Mexicali, and this year even more members of our club joined in! We donated school supplies to the CAM Eduardo Huet school for deaf children, donated and distributed clothing to children in need at Desayunador UREDAE, and helped clean up and beautify Parque Angelique. We also enjoyed fellowship with our friends in other Rotary District 5330 clubs. What a great way to kick off the new year! Kudos to the Palm Desert club for another fantastic service trip.

Jason is a Charter Member and Past President of the former Rotary Club of Temecula Valley - New Generations, which merged with the Rotary Club of Old Town Temecula last year. His job may be taking him to another state, but he will always be a member of our Rotary family! Thank you, Jason, for your commitment and contributions to our club since day 1. You will be greatly missed!

Today we participated in the Rotary District 5330 Today we participated in the Rotary District 5330 Interact Training Assembly and enjoyed a day full of workshops geared toward improving our ability to support and guide our Interact clubs. Per Rotary International, Interact Clubs must organize at least two projects every year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary clubs mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop their leadership skills. Our club planted three new trees and painted the fence at @cityoftemecula ‘s Voorburg Park. We then enjoyed the park and beautiful spring day with a picnic. Last night our meeting focused on recapping the @r Last night our meeting focused on recapping the @ryla5330 experiences of the 20+ students our club sent to the March and April 2024 camps, as well as that of our members who volunteered at both camps. We were also lucky to be joined by the majority of camp alumni and members of both @gohs_interact and @tsc_interact who participated in #RYLA5330 . We heard so many stories of RYLArians who were hesitant to attend camp and ended up having the experience of a lifetime, making new friends, gaining confidence, and learning how to become better leaders in their communities. We are so proud of each and every one of the RYLArians and thank you for sharing your experiences with us! #BeYourOwnCharacter #ServiceAboveSelf

Tonight we also celebrated the nomination of member Tony Berardino for Citizen of the Year, and cheered for member and @cityoftemecula Mayor Stew as he took the stage.
